He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Morrissey and Mildred Morrissey (Olsen); his son Michael Morrissey; and his sister Harriet Salzmann. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Morrissey (Stepski); his children, Stefanie Salazar (Ben) of Norfolk and Joseph Morrissey of Kingston; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Thomas, Steven Salazar of Norfolk, VA and Alexander Salazar of Richmond, VA; and his sibling's children, Rick Salzmann and Betsy Arlantico.
