He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Morrissey and Mildred Morrissey (Olsen); his son Michael Morrissey; and his sister Harriet Salzmann. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Morrissey (Stepski); his children, Stefanie Salazar (Ben) of Norfolk and Joseph Morrissey of Kingston; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Thomas, Steven Salazar of Norfolk, VA and Alexander Salazar of Richmond, VA; and his sibling's children, Rick Salzmann and Betsy Arlantico.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc. (27 Smith Ave, Kingston, NY 12401). A procession will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (242 Wall St, Kingston, NY 12401).
