He is survived by: his pet Stella; his wife Dr Ecaterina Lazar (Ginghina); his daughter Dr. Ruxandra Iorgu (Bogdan Iorgu) of Kingston; his sister-in-law Elena Stan Lazar of Bucharest; his nieces, Michaela Popescu (Christian Popescu) of Montreal, Irina Anton (Ioan) of Bucharest Romania and Ana Nitu of Braila, Romania.; Mihai and Aurelia Iorgu. He is also survived by several other nieces, and great nieces and nephews.
