He was predeceased by: his father William S. Rihm; and his brother-in-law T. Chad Henke. He is survived by: his mother Maria Rihm (Rueb) of Daytona Beach, FL.; his siblings, Ronald Rihm (Karen) of Port Orange, FL and Sonja Henke of Wingdale, NY.; his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Rihm, Robyn Henke, Thomas "Chad" Henke and Richard Henke; and his great-nephew Ethan William Labate.
