He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Figie and Mary Figie (Hullar). He is survived by: his wife Sondra Figie (Myrto); his children, Mark Figie, Brian Figie (Lesley) and Paula Maxwell (Deb); his grandchildren, Jacob Maxwell (Shelby), Alex Figie and Erica Figie; his great grandchild Clayton Maxwell; his sister Betty Raynor; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Sperber and Dan Myrto. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Kirkville Fire Department or Hospice of Central New York.
