We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy R. Diffendorf of Kirkwood, New York, born in Endicott, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Benjamin and Elta Benjamin; her siblings, Murray Benjamin (Dotti), Cleo Reinecker (Jimmy), Anna Lou Friedman (Melvin) and Kimmie Kniffen; and her siblings-in-law, Don Diffendorf and Doris Hedges.

She is survived by : her husband Bill; her children, Sandra (Tom Smith), Connie (Gary Harding), Bill (Cathy Diffendorf), Marchie (Gayle Diffendorf) and Jack (Becky Diffendorf); and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Rounds, Betty Lou Kelly, Ginny Pompeii and Gordi Kniffen (Kate). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, spouses, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. Chase & Son Funeral Home (737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, NY 13901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kirkwood United Methodist Church. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Kirkwood Cemetery.
