He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Anna; his brother Donald; and his sister-in-law Marilyn. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughter Karen Irons (David); his grandson Nathan Irons (Kristina); his great grandchildren, Stella and Audrey; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy, Mary, Joseph, Michael and Maureen.
He always enjoyed his rescue dogs; in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Montrose Humane Society.
