She was predeceased by : her father Wesley Waite; and her parents-in-law, Mary and Claude Knapp. She is survived by : her mother Louise Waite; her brothers, Alan and Aaron Martin; her husband Ray Knapp; her children, Misty Evans (Brad), Nicole (Eric Anthony), Matthew (Marissa Knapp) and Melissa Knapp; her grandchildren, Tyler Perkins (Samantha), Kyle, Christina Evans, Dylan Richards, Reagan Knapp and Kaleb Anthony; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Gracie, Greyson and Olivia.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Animal Adventure or The Broome County Humane Society in Sharon's memory.
