He is survived by: his wife Robin Bates; his children, Christa Taylor (Michael) and Justin Bates (Molly); his grandchildren, Emily Taylor (Kelly), Dylan Taylor, Abigail Taylor, Eric Bates and Andy Bates; his brother Orvil Bates (Debbie); and his pet Sadie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
