He was predeceased by : his wife Marjorie Wheeler; his sons, Daniel Wheeler and Donald Wheeler (Cathy); his parents, Lyle Wheeler and Madge Wheeler; and his siblings, Iona Grimsley (late Oliver), Phyllis Staymates, Jacqueline Bastedo, Jason Wheeler, Bronson Wheeler (Audrey), James Wheeler, Mayo Wheeler and Donald Wheeler (late Colleen).

He is survived by : his child Dale Wheeler (Dolly); his daughter-in-law Tami Schiemant (Scott); his grandchildren, Erik Wheeler (Laura), Amanda Buccitelli (Drew), Erin Wheeler, Timothy Wheeler (Kate), Abigail Zarefoss (Frank), Bret Wheeler, Kyle Wheeler (Lisa) and Cara Wheeler (Josh Griffin); and his sister Brenda LoBocchiaro (late Joseph). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

“I have good memories of my Uncle Corky. He was a kind and loving and gentle man Fond memories of family gatherings at Silver Lake with all the aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, strolling, runnings up and down those hills roads, wasn't a day that you couldn't find a "wheeler" somewhere along the way! Although we sometime drift apart, we will always be family. Uncle Corky has gone to reunite with his soulmate Aunt Marge. Together again for ever. love, Donna Rae oxox”
