He was predeceased by: his wife Della Heim (Barr); his child Laurie Gronachan; his grandchild Ryan; and his parents, Robert F. Heim and Florence Heim (Balek).
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Rutkowski (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer and Thurnherr; his great grandchildren, Joseph and Ella; his sister Carol Linnemann (Ernst); his nephew Andrew Linnemann (Leanne); and his pet Molly.
