He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Gillette and Charles Gillette; and his siblings, Mary Yerdon and Richard Gillette. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Angus of LaFargeville; and his children, Charles Gillette (Cordial) of Minnesota, Amy Seals (Dan) of LaFargeville, Joseph Gillette (Sue) of Watertown, Nancy Massa (Frank) of Plessis, Patricia Hoppel of Carthage, Shirley Murphy of Theresa and Deborah Frizzell (James) of Copenhagen. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion (36223 NY-180, La Fargeville, NY 13656).
