Barbara G. Compton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara G. Compton of LaFayette, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl A. Compton; her son-in-law Edward "Easy" Ryder; and her parents, Robert Thomas and Florence Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Molly Herwood (Steven), Julie Ryder and Carl "Chip" Compton, Jr.; her grandchildren, Edward "EJ" Ryder III, Crystal Clifford (Kyle), Samuel Herwood, Hollyanne Compton (Jordan), Micaela Compton (Dan) and Rebecca Herwood-Mussen (Zachary); her great grandchildren, George, Charlie and Luna; and her sister-in-law Leona E. Compton Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
