Philip left this world on March 10, 2026 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Field and Dorothy Field of Cardiff; his sister JoAnne Gormley; and his lifetime love Mary. He is survived by: his children, Mark Field (Lynne) of Fulton, James Field (Melanie) of McGraw and Mary Beth Cummings (Steven Scharoun) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Matthew Field (Hunter), Philip Field, Allison Field, Marley Cummings and Abigal Vollaro (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Marcus and Emily Field; and his brothers, Karl Field and Michael Field. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the LaFayette Fire Department.
