He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Michell and Marion Michell Sr. (Saul); his wife Margaret Hanson; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Eileen Michell.

He is survived by : his children, Nora (Richard Scott Kehoe) and Eric Michell (Maria); and his grandchildren, Erica, Gwyneth, Nora Paige and Savannah-Margaret.
