He was predeceased by : his parents, John W. McFadden and Mary Jane Brown McFadden; and his brother Steven. He is survived by : his wife Marianne Sherman McFadden; his sons, Peter J (Kimber) of Pleasant Valley and John S. (Alyssa) of LaGrangeville; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Emma and John; and his siblings, John T. McFadden, Jane Pagnanella, Mary Ellen Jamison and Kathleen Shute. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Peter's name can be made to Saint Jude's Childrens Hospital because Peter always felt that children should never have to experience or know about cancer.
