We announce the death of Stephen Sesztak of Lagrangeville, New York, who passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lajos Sesztak and Julianna Koslab. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sesztak (Santolla); his daughters, Lucy (James Smyth) and Julianna; his grandchildren, MaryEllen Smyth, Stephen Dorino and Sabrina Dorino; his brothers, Geza and Julius; and his nieces and nephews, Eva, Patricia (Steve) and Thomas. He is also survived by one great-niece; and three great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church (1925 NY-82, Lagrangeville, NY 12540). A burial was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Denis Cemetery (604 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533).
