He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hughes and Anne M. Hughes (Cameron); and his sister Anne McLean. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Hughes; his children, James E. Hughes (Renee) of Queensbury and Allison Hughes of Hadley; his granddaughters, Caitlin Hughes, Alyssa Hughes, Britney Hughes and Jasmine Fitzgerald; his great grandchildren, Paisley Hughes, Callen Sayeed and Johnathan Bardin; his siblings, Arlene Gorny (Tim), Gary Hughes (Graciela), Marilyn Martin and Mary Houman (James); and his brother-in-law John McLean. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
