He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel E. Emerson and Janet E. Sharp Emerson. He is survived by: his son Nolan Emerson (Taylor Dewey) of Dunkirk; his siblings, Cindy Swanson (Chip) of Bemus Point and Greg Emerson (Joanna) of Grass Valley, CA; his niece Jamie Paulson (Chris) of Evans, NY; and his nephew Kyle Swanson (Jessi) of Mayville.
