She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph T. Peters; her son Joseph G. "Doc" Peters; and her sibling Shirley Wight. She is survived by: her children, Sue Porzio (Gene), Gary Peters (Michelle), Cynthia Rotella, Diane Basehart and Tim Peters; her grandchildren, Ryan Walczak, Geoffrey Peters, Christopher Walczak (Kandace), Nicholas Rotella, Dominic Rotella, Kelsey Basehart, Vincent Rotella and Andreana Basehart; her pet Sophie; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Grayson, Saoirse, Caspian and Calyx. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zurbrick-Amigone Funeral Home (5615 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (1 St Marys Hill, Lancaster, NY 14086).
