We announce the death of Joanne Ruth Williams (Lancaster, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howard Kolb and Rose Margaret Kolb (Wittmer); her husband George Watkin Williams; and her daughter-in-law Gail Burton. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Williams of Lockport, N. Y., Christopher Williams, Jeffrey Williams (Kathy) of East Aurora, N. Y. and Diane Cox (Michael). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Lancaster Ward Meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter (127 William Kidder Rd, Lancaster, NY 14086). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
