We are sad to announce that, on July 9, 2025, at the age of 97, Robert J. Schaefer Sr. in Lancaster, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Schaefer; his wife Phyllis; and his brother Dr. Arthur Schaefer (late Elizabeth). He is survived by: his father Arthur Schaefer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
