Russell T. Krest Obituary
Livonia/Lancaster: Russell was born on August 29, 1964 in Rochester, NY and passed at his home in Lancaster, NY, on July 16, 2025, at age 60. He was predeceased by his parents Robert J. Sr. and Mary (Hirschman) Krest.
Survived by his siblings; Robert "Hutt" (Mary) Krest, Ricky (Renda) Krest, and David "Wimp" Carey; nephew, Jonathan Krest; also survived by cousins, coworkers, and many friends.
Russell will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was a great musician and poet, as well as an electrician, plumber, technician, auto mechanic and more. Russ was always ready to help anyone in need, whether it was friend, family, co-worker or total stranger. Russ was a kind, generous and giving person with a love of life and uncanny ability to have fun. He will be in our hearts forever. Family and friends may call on Sunday, August 17th, from 1-5pm at the American Legion Post, 3850 Federal Rd., Livonia, NY 14487 where his service will be held at 1pm, with a reception following. In Russ's memory please live a life of paying it forward to others and remember to enjoy good music as he did.
