He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rhoads and Helen Rhoads; his sisters, Jan Warner and Carolyn Stevely; his son-in-law Jeremy Butler; and his sister-in-law Patricia Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Rhoads; his children, Beth (Darren Sr.), Darrell (KC) and Kristen; his grandchildren, Char, Darren (Katrina), Ryan, Tucker, Mason, Bristol and River; his great grandchildren, Trevor and Matthias; his siblings, Daniel Rhoads, Connie Armstrong and Jackie Beckwith; his brother-in-law Christopher Wood; Holly Trexler. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lansing Rod and Gun Club (55 Salmon Creek Rd, Lansing, NY 14882). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
