With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William L. Bean (Lansing, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William L. Bean to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Bean and Helen M. Bean; and his son Phillip William. He is survived by: his wife Marcia L. Burroughs of Portville, NY.; his daughters, Kim Steiner of Lansing, NY and Kari Sciera of Wellesley, MA.; his grandchildren, Zachary Steiner (Amanda), Kyle Steiner (Logan), Mace Sciera and Ryan Sciera; and his great grandchildren, Karrigan Steiner (Kyle) and Luca Steiner. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the All Saints Parish Center (347 Ridge Rd, Lansing, NY 14882).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Signal 30 NYS Troopers Benefit Fund (Signal30.org) to support NYS Police and their families in times of hardship.
