She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry George Butler and Beverly Bond Holmes (Richard J. Holmes); and her mother-in-law Mary Jane Butler. She is survived by: her husband Dean; her daughters, Katie Barnes and Susan Barnes Girling (Adam); her granddaughters, Lucy Katharine Girling and Emily Caroline Girling; her brother Donald Butler (Marian); her siblings' children, Kelly Butler, Kevin Butler (Nicola) and Brad Butler (Jamie Gin); her sister Nancy Scott (Scooter); her siblings' children, Saxon Scott, Mallory Scott and Spencer Scott; her sister Mary Beth Butler (Ken Pritchett); her siblings' children, Holley Pritchett (JoJo) and Brandon Pritchett (Courtney); and her friend Barbara. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).
