He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. Connor Sr. and Mary Murphy Connor; his wife Joyce Ann Germain Connor of Troy; and his siblings, Harold (Connor), Joan (Tine), Peter (Connor) and Anne (Passignano).

He is survived by: his children, Mary Lou Baker (Daniel) of Clifton Park and John A. Connor Jr. of Troy; his grandson Timothy Ruffinen Jr. (Audrey) of Niskayuna; his siblings, Robert Connor and Patricia Prisk; and his niece Maureen Connor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
