With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Francis McCormack of Laurel Hollow, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McCormack and Marguerite McCormack. He is survived by: his children, Joseph William (Laura McCormack) of Norwalk, CT and Erin Kathleen (Christopher McCormack) of Havertown, PA; his wife Karen Winter of Fairmont; his grandsons, William, James, Matthew and Jameson; his siblings, James Patrick McCormack, Robert McCormack, Ann Bedont, Timothy McCormack, Eileen McLane and David McCormack; his grandson Thomas Joseph "TJ" McCormack; his brother Michael McCormack; and his siblings' children, Matthew McCormack and Jaimy Ott. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in-law.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. A. Connell Funeral Home Inc. (934 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY 11746). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (400 Main St, Huntington, NY 11743). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Willowbrook Cemetery (385 Main St, Westport, CT 06880). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Harbor Club (95 New York Ave, Huntington, NY 11743).
