Arlene Mae VanHoute Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene Mae VanHoute in Laurel, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 28, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arlene Mae VanHoute to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary DeFisher; her husbands, Welman VanHoute and Warren Tierson; her sons, Douglas VanHoute (Marylou) and Herbert VanHoute (Catherine); her siblings, Connie Vinki (Toni) and Lester DeFisher (Patty); her siblings-in-law, Lester and Pat DeFisher; and her granddaughter Monica Conca.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Cocca Dugas (Ray) of Florida; her grandchildren, Kim Puccio, Matthew Cocca (Cathy), Mark Cocca (Nicole), Aaron Cocca (Jen), Stacey Anstee (Kenneth Jr.), Melody VanHoute, Jeremy VanHoute, James VanHoute (Brooke) and Rebecca VanHoute; and her friends, June Oberdorf and Mary Kay Harley. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marion Cemetery (3951 Buffalo St, Marion, NY 14505).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Arlene to the Laurel House Comfort Care Home, 224 Fair Street, Newark, NY 14513.
