She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard I. Slater and Elizabeth I. Murray. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Smith; her sons, Brian Stanton (Heidi), Todd Stanton and Kevin Stanton (Melissa); her stepdaughter Courtney Pashalidis (Karl); her grandchildren, Liliana, Abigail, Brock, Trevor, Evan and Aiden; and her siblings, Richard Slater (Nirmala), Suzanne French, Daniel Slater (Gloria) and Stanley Slater. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
