He was predeceased by: his children, Jimmy, Jennifer and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kochmanski (Hammer); and his sons, Wally Jr. (Claudia) and Stephen (Nikki). He is also survived by five grandchildren, two brothers, brother/sister in laws, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Walter's family or a charity of the donor's choice.
