He was predeceased by : his father Joseph Sank; his siblings, Joseph Sank, Charlotte Stufflebeam, John Sank, Carol Goodwill, Peggy Higley, Beverly Sank and Thomas Watson; and his mother Ida Prine Sank.

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Ange Sank; his children, Ronald Sank II (Tammy), Chris Sank (Lena), Justin Koschara (Olivia) and Alicia Koschara; his siblings, Leon Sank (Sheila), Leland Sank (Donna), Archie Higley Jr., Ida Carlson (Carl), Isabelle Smith, Betsy Montgomery and Linda Wynn; and his pet Oreo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
