We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2025, at the age of 74, Lawrence W. Dixon Jr. of Levittown, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Dixon and Ella Dixon (Kohler); and his sister Ellen. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Dixon-Pignataro (Umberto) and Kathryn Maloney (Ryan); his grandchildren, Bella, Mia, Rocco, Ella and Andrew; his great grandchild Nyne; and his siblings, Patti Burton (Richard), Michael, Richard, Russell and Stephen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes (125 W Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church (3100 Hempstead Tpke, Levittown, NY 11756).
Donations in his memory can be made to the Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center in lieu of flowers.
