Dale Roat Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 22, 2025, at the age of 82, Dale Roat of Lewiston, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dale leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Roat and Margaret Roat (Deitering); and his brother Gary (Deloris). He is survived by: his wife Janet Roat (Warren); his daughters, Shelly Hinchliffe (Scott) and Sarah Waechter (Scott); and his grandchildren, Jack, Andy Hinchliffe, Emma and Maggie Waechter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dale's memory to Niagara Hospice, Lockport, New York, or Visiting Nursing Association of Western New York.
