She was predeceased by: her parents, James Peters and Helen Peters (Rutkowski); and her husband Perry J. Spavento, MD. She is survived by: her daughter Katie Spavento, MD; her sister Pat Nowakowski (Carl); and her nieces, Jennifer Curcione and Kristin Nowakowski Kematic.
