He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Moote and Ruth [Taylor] Moote; and his brother Judson Moote. He is survived by: his wife Irene A. [Wienckowski] Moote; his children, Gerald T. Moote, Jr. (Jennifer) and Jacquelyn Cochran (Steven); his grandchildren, Mitchell Cochran (Denise), Taylor Cochran, Jonathan and Joseph Moote; and his sister-in-law Joyce Moote. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
