She was predeceased by: her parents, John Romanek and Bernice Romanek; her husband Armando Alavarez; and her siblings, Walter and Emily.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Alvarez, Gary Alvarez (Jean) and Kathryn Penale (Tom). She is also survived by five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
