He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "Frank" McCombs and Artie McCombs (Gordon); his wife Norma L. McCombs (Wellsby); his daughter Patricia Anne Penque; and his siblings, Gordon McCombs and Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Ryan (Mary Ann), Karen M. LoStracco (Thomas) and JoAnne Perkins (David); his grandchildren, Melissa Stangroom (Andy) of Thomas LoStracco, MD and Austin Perkins; and his great grandchildren, Brooke and Andrew Stangroom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
