Shirley Martin Obituary
We announce the death of Shirley Martin of Lewiston, New York, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 96. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curto and Eleanor [DeLorenzo] Curto; her husband William R. Martin; and her brother Robert Curto. She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Joan), Ronald (Amy), Robert (Cheryl) and Roger Pieroni (Allison Dalla Torre); and her stepchildren, Robert Martin (Lori), Kathleen Weis (John), Bruce Martin (Margaret) and Carolyn Burns (Jess). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, many great-grandchildren. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc. (901 Cayuga St, Lewiston, NY 14092-1734). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's R. C. Church (620 Center St, Lewiston, NY 14092).
Memorials may be made in her name to Love, Heart and Soul or to the Niagara University Scholarship Program.
