He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James J. Fries and Shirley A. Boye Fries; his children, Jason Fries (Erika) of Limestone and Jennifer Benson (Dusty) of Erie, PA; his grandchildren, Owen Fries and Emily Fries; and his sisters, Alvena Babb (Brian) of Allegany and Sue Grigsby (Larry) of Olean. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces.
