She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tom Diaferio and Pat Diaferio (Cashen); her husband Pete Sobierajski; her children, Jessica Sobierajski, Jennifer Sobierajski (Kenneth) and Jason Sobierajski (Sabrina); her granddaughters, Lila, Delaney and Laura Ferraro; her friends, Peggy, Lisa and Pathmark; and her close friends, Tiziana Palumbo-Baudier and Laura Zito.
Flowers are welcome; and for those who may wish instead make a memorial contribution to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), supporting the fight against cancer in Doreen's name.
