We announce the death of Philip H. Smithers (Ogdensburg, New York), who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Almond J. Smithers and Martha Smithers (Holmes); his sisters, Eleanor Blackburn and Muriel Leboeuf; his wife Sylvia J. Richer (Cricket); and his brother Harold.
He is survived by: his children, Tanya Lee-Dombrowski, Nick Smithers, Tonya Smithers-Crundwell, Scott Smithers and Angela Dooley. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
