Viola M. Reska Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2025, at the age of 93, Viola M. Reska (Little Falls, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Tanner and Ella Tanner; her husband Walter Reska; and her sons, John Reska and Michael Reska.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Conley (Mark), Walter Reska (Denise) and Robert Reska (Mary); her grandchildren, Mark Conley (Erin), Peter Conley (Katherine), Jennifer Dodge (Charles), Jonathon Reska, Charles Goldstein (Kayla), Christopher Reska, Lisa and Morgan Sheppard (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Zoe, Olivia, Tyler Dodge, Briella, C. J. Goldstein, Miguel and Benjamin Sheppard; her sister Gloria Graves; her niece Carol Hershel; her friends, Sharon Palmer and Bonnie Comes; and her close friend Judy Applegate (Enea).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mohawk Reformed Church (20 S Otsego St, Mohawk, NY 13407). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as a expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk Reformed Church, 20 South Otsego St., Mohawk, NY 13407, or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
