He is survived by : his wife Patricia Hughes McDaniel (Patty) of Richfield Springs; his son Michael McDaniel of Ladson; his stepdaughter Kate Moxham (Reardon); his son-in-law Mike Moxham; his granddaughter Harper Moxham (West Winfield); his stepgranddaughters, Hannah, Ava and Leah Moxham; his grandsons, Jordan McDaniel (Katrina Caringi) of St. Johnsville and Jared McDaniel of Gloversville; his siblings-in-law, Cindy Gilbert (Jon Gilbert) and Brian Hughes (Sue); his nieces, Jennifer Gilbert, Laura Rhoades (Gilbert) and Sarah Ultsch (Gilbert); his brother-in-law Dick Knowles; his nieces, Richelle Carter (Knowles) and Jennifer Quigley (Knowles); his nephew Joshua Knowles; his brothers, Bud (Butch Hamm) and Pat Kern; and his friends, Mark Ambrosi, Ed and Bruce Schwabach.
