It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dora B. Jones of Little York, New York, who passed away on July 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Breeds and Gladys Breeds (Riese); her husband Robert H Jones; and her siblings, Gerald Breeds, Betsy Hargett, Douglas Breeds, Jane Breeds and Lawrence Breeds.
She is survived by: her sisters, Charlene Hamilton (Floyd) of Locke, NY and June Abbey of Cortland, NY.; her children, Debra Dutcher (Douglas) of Otego, NY, Stuart Jones of Canton, Georgia, Rebecca Jones (Jeff Palm) of Cortland, NY, Edwin Jones (Laura Marcy) of Cortland, NY and Robert S Jones (Deanna) of Liverpool, NY.; her grandchildren, Eric Palm, Nicholas Jones (AnaMaria), Keith Palm, Dana Dutcher, Dayle Dutcher (Christopher Marks), Ian Jones (Ashley Lefebvre), Hannah Jones, Ariel Jones, Noah Jones (Noelle Hensler) and Kathryn Jones; and her great grandchildren, Kaedyn, Baylee DeBoer, Esmeralda, Ada Jones and Sylvie Lefebvre. She is also survived by 30 nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Wright Beard Funeral Home (9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
