He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Johnson and Rose Lombino Johnson (Lombino); his friend John Mark Ennis; and his great grandchild Bailee Rose. He is survived by: his children, Michael Johnson (Laurie) of Cicero, NY and Michele Doeing (Tom) of Liverpool, NY; his brothers, Richard Johnson (Carol) of Rome, NY, Dennis Johnson (Laurie) of Sandy Creek, NY and Mark Johnson (Greta) of North Syracuse, NY; his grandchildren, Jamie Parish and Eric Johnson; and his great grandchild Ariana. He is also survived by many nieces, relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicholas J Bush Funeral Home (7751 Merrick Rd, Rome, NY 13440). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (210 E Dominick St, Rome, NY 13440).
