She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick Paul Smithers and Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Pass; her daughters, Shameckia Lachelle White (Adrian), LaVona Edit Byrd, Tamar Juntia Smithers (Shyde-El) and Markeya Tanisha Green (Anthony); and her husband Mark Green.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hope Church (1640 South Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
