It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Spies of Liverpool, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cassetta and Lucy Cassetta; and her husband Roy. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Lynn), David Spies (Sue) and Laura Hillanbrand (Mark); and her grandchildren, Amy Pirro (Brian Mishalanie), Beth Behrens (Brett), Brian Spies (Silver), Jeffery Spies (Michelle), Jennifer Spies and Matthew Spies (Karyn). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
