He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dinse and Jean Dinse; his brother Jim Dinse; and his siblings-in-law, Donald and Marlene Meidel.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Abigael, William, Henry, David, Scarlet, Calvin, Bella, Joanna, Jane and Teddy; his nieces and nephews, Joe (Kim), Christopher (Amy), Mike Nicosia (Heather), Christina (Matt Hallady), Julie Curtis (Brianna Steel) and Maggie (Mitch Rick); his wife Christine Stegmeier; his children, Kate (Paul Freyer), Ryan (Madeline Hamberger) and Karen (Eric Osborne); his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Nicosia and Eileen Curtis (Dave Bodkin); and his friends, Joe Nicosia (Lisa) and Lou Curtis (Angie). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and their partners.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
