Newman (Melinda); her siblings, Julia Newman, Gloria Snipe, King Snipe, David Snipe, Carolyn J. Wheeler, Allen Snipe and Charlotte Snipe; her grandchildren, Lewis Johnson, Symone Kennedy, Simara Kennedy, Micah Newman, Dominic Avery, Bradley Newman and Tyler Newman; and her great grandchildren, J'nara Sutton and J'ream Mayhem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
