He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Race and Florence Race (Poole); and his sister Julia Frey. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Race (Bouvier); his children, Stephen Race (Colleen) and Kristen Glickert (Deron); his grandchildren, Sophia, Zackery (Isabelle), Geoffrey, Kyra and Brynn; and his brother Gerald Race (Patty). He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the North Central Church (7463 Buckley Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Moyers Corners Fire Department, 7697 Morgan Rd. Liverpool, NY 13090.
